Alisha Dukes is a pioneer in diesel sled pulling and show and shines in the Pacific Northwest. Alisha is from Kent, Wash., south of Seattle. Alisha wears numerous hats, including mother, wife, diesel enthusiast, and model. Alisha owns and races a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD.
Alisha’s diesel sled pulling career started near the beginning of the new decade, and has continued to grow during the short few years she has been active in the sport. As her interest in competing has grown, he desire to win and to modify her Silverado has also grown.
Affectionately, Alisha has named her truck the Dirty Queen B, which boasts impressive modifications for any truck. The long list of modifications include DHD traction bars, DHD Frame stops, a 6-inch FabTech lift, an upgraded straight back exhaust into a custom hydro dipped stack, an EFILive tuner, an Edge Insight CTS, and Kryptonite front end steering. For the safety of her and her family, Alisha has installed a back up camera into the truck.
“Dirty Queen B is my girl. She is powerful, beautiful and most of all, I feel safe with my kids in there,” Alisha states.
Cosmetically, Alisha has stamped her personality and the Power of Pink into her truck. Her Silverado features a black leather interior, with pink paisley hydro dipped interior pieces on her engine. The exterior of the truck is black with pink highlights and set with Swarovski emblems. Her truck also houses Plasti Dip bumpers and grille.
Alisha’s plans for the future of her truck will take her under the hood again, with a larger turbo and fuel injectors, which she realizes will necessitate building a new transmission. Currently, she already plans on adding a Fass fuel pump and a front ELocker differential, and a cold-air intake. For the exterior she wants to add toll pan bumpers, and then plans to Plasti Dip and paint the rest of the Silverado matte black.Silverado features a black leather interior, with pink paisley hydro dipped interior pieces on her engine. When not pushing her diesel pulling a sled, Alisha uses her truck as her daily driver, and can be seen bussing her children to different soccer practices and games. After the future modifications, and in the upcoming 2015 NW Truck Pulls, she hopes to travel around and be part of more events.
