Ram has a reputation for long-lasting pickups, and it has especially shown that since it emerged as its own brand of pickups in 2009. For the 2017 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty trucks, Ram offers the most revolutionary features and the best ride quality in its class. The Ram is available in the following wheelbase configurations:
- Regular Cab: 140.5-inch wheelbase
- Crew Cab: 149 or 169-inch wheelbase
- Mega Cab: 160-inch wheelbase
Excluding the mirrors, all single-rear-wheel Ram trucks are about 79 inches wide.
The 2500 models are available with an off-road package that includes such features as hill-descent control and a limited-slip differential. All Ram models come in eight trims, and 12 exterior colors.
