The product is designed to reduce body roll, tighten up driving dynamics and improve driver control, especially when towing or hauling, and fits all drive configurations.
The Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD trucks are known for their workhorse capabilities, however, are not equipped with a rear sway bar from the factory. This causes undue body roll and reduces driver control during towing or hauling conditions.
The sway bar is forged from solid 1-1/4-inch diameter heat-treated 4140 chromoly steel and features Hellwig’s Hammertone powder coat finish. The three-hole design allows users to tune the sway bar to their preferred spring rate.
Hellwig’s 2020-2021 Chevrolet and GMC 2500/3500 bolt-on rear sway bar (P/N 7782) includes all mounting hardware, adjustable end links to integrate with factory components and aftermarket suspension setups and polyurethane bushings.
