aFe Power released information to Diesel Tech announcing the release of the Momentum HD sealed air intake system for the 2004.5-05 GM Silverado HD/Sierra HD V8-6.6L (td) LLY, P/N 54-74002.
The Momentum HD intake system is a considerable upgrade, which outflowed the factory intake by 43% and resulted in 19 additional horsepower and 33 ft./lbs. torque. A smooth one-piece sealed housing with auxiliary air scoop is used to eliminate the use of multiple-piece housings and to ensure one of the coolest air intake charge available.
A urethane plug is also included for extreme conditions when it is necessary to block the auxiliary air scoop. A large, stainless steel plate is used for an aggressive style.
