This is my 2002 Chevy 2500HD LB7 Duramax. I live in Idaho Falls, Idaho, which is huge on diesel trucks and I'm right there with them. So when I got my Duramax, I knew I had to get some performance put in it. Before I got under the hood, I figured I should give it a little one-of-a-kind look. I started out by putting 33-inch Federal Couragia mountain tires on and 20-inch Moto Metal wheels with red inserts to match my paint. I de-badged it, added a little tint and put a custom bed liner on the bumpers. I switched my exhaust pipe to a 7-inch single exhaust stack and figured it was about time for more power. I started out by installing an Air Dog fuel system and an Edge CTS. I put in a pyro and boost gauge, an EFILive DSP 5 and threw in an S&B intake. The power was getting to be a little much and the transmission wasn't really ready for it. I went ahead and rebuilt my transmission, which set things right, and I put my truck back on the road. Since I've started this project, my Chevy's been turning some heads.
