Sinister Up-pipes End Cracking And Leaking

For 7.3L Power Stroke

December 2014 News, PowerStroke, Products Web Exclusive

Press Release from Sinister Diesel:

Sinister Diesel’s new 7.3L Power Stroke up-pipes eliminate the slip joint in the cast merge piece which is a common location for factory up-pipes to leak. In addition, Sinister has removed the bellows in favor of a much stronger, longer lasting "double slip" flex joint which means better performance and no cracking due to heat fatigue. This design allows the upper and lower sections of the up-pipes to flex and move with heat expansion while maintaining a 100% seal. The double slip also allows flexibility to account for different tolerances in motors from year to year, as well as differences in aftermarket turbo kits. Sinister Diesel up-pipes are constructed of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and are mandrel bent for maximum flow. All Sinister up-pipe kits are fully TIG welded on a fixture as well as back-purged for the highest quality and strongest weld possible.

These kits include both driver and passenger up-pipes with factory cast merge piece along with hardware and Ford factory gaskets to bolt the up-pipes to the cast merge piece. To learn more, call Sinister Diesel toll free at (888) 967-8823 or visit www.SinisterDiesel.com
