I upgraded a lot on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 Twin Turbo Crew Cab, including color-matched bumpers, LED/HID lights, sound system, speakers, subs, amp, head unit, a Diamo 17-inch Karat chrome 20 X10 on 12-inch offset with brand new Nitto 420s, over an axle dump exhaust, and a lowered 4/3 drop suspension.
I’m serious about performance and have added an EPR compound turbo for extra punch, over S475 injectors. The heads have been milled to 1/6,000 of an inch, I’ve replaced and upgraded the head studs and the mains studs, and I’ve adjusted the valve and added Grade C head gaskets. I replaced the stock transmission with a Suncoast Stage 4 Transmission and converter, added a FASS 90 lift pump, EFILive with a DSP 5 Switch Washer. Cosmetically I’ve upgraded the front end with Cognito Pitman arms, a steering brace and sleeves, and to the rear added color-coordinated 61-inch traction bars. When I find someone bragging about their truck, I challenge them. I am the quiet guy in the back, and I will embarrass them.
