My 2006 F250 Super Duty is our every day driver and a work in progress combining pieces and parts from other Fords to create a unique look that is solely mine. I built my truck on a 2010 frame and axles; however, the engine is a ’99.5 7.3L Power Stroke, and I have added a 4R100 automatic transmission on a 2012 front end with 2012 box sides atop a 2006 box. With over 12 hours of work into my truck, I am proud to say that it looks like new.
We will be doing all metal-to-metal parts with low-friction coating technology, which we will be working with our friend, client and NASCAR engine builder, who has developed and uses this process for NASCAR. We are the first and only shop using this technology in diesels. The results are a quieter ride, better fuel mileage, less blow-by and less wear.
