When the economic downturn hit California in 2009, Daniel Marks found himself out of a job. As tends to happen in such situations, he had to relinquish his vehicle to the bank since he couldn’t make the payments anymore. He was, as you might expect, pretty bummed out. Due to the state of the economy, no one was hiring and Daniel was in a bad spot. Not one to let circumstances get him down, Daniel decided to become his own boss: he went out and got a contractor’s license and started his own business, Cal Star Fire Protection. Not long after, he got some money together and bought a 2005 Ford F250 6.0L Power Stroke.
