This is my second Dodge Cummins. It's an 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 with the 5.9L engine. It was a Texas truck, completely stock, with absolutely no rust and only 76,000 miles on it when I bought it. I've had it for two years now and it currently has 108,000 miles. I drive it everywhere and I love it.
I don't tow with it, I just bought it to hot rod. It will shred those dually tires from here to next week. In fact, I've been through three sets of tires already. My list of mods include a Smarty programmer stacked with an edge EZ box, 40hp injectors, FASS fuel pump, K&N air intake with Banks high ram intake elbow, 4-inch Diamond Eye turbo back exhaust into a 5-inch stack, Dunrite valvebody and pressure solenoid in the transmission and I now get 18.5 mpg.
The wheels are stock painted black with 245/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires and Spike lug covers up front. I have a pyro, boost, and transmission temp gauges on the pillar and a fuel psi gauge on the steering column. My future plans include an ATS built transmission first and foremost, then the sky is the limit!
