Jordan has owned his dark blue 2005 Dodge RAM 2500 with the common rail 5.9L for a year and a half, and it’s now his daily driver. He purchased it as a work truck to haul roofing bundles from time to time. It was bone-stock when purchased, and he added a few engine mods including the Edge CTS2 tuner, an S&B air intake, and a 4-inch MBRP turbo back exhaust with a mini-stack as the exhaust tip. The suspension is a 5-inch long-arm Rough Country lift kit with dual steering stabilizers and a steering box brace. Other mods include an upgraded T-style steering linkage, a fiberglass double scoop hood, 22-inch Moto Metal Buckshot rims wrapped with 33-inch Toyo Open Country tires, and even wheel lights.
If we had to pick the three most eye-catching mods on this truck, they would be the wheels, tires, and lift because of their size and how they make the truck look larger than it is. Also, don’t forget those wheel lights, which draw attention as well. Although the truck is quite modest as a build, it is unique and means a whole lot to Jordan, mainly because he was able to do almost all the customization himself. “The truck is special to me because it’s built, not bought,” Jordan says. “I’ve personally done everything to it other than the lift kit, which was installed by my local diesel shop, Redline.”
