This is a very gorgeous brand new 6.7L Power Stroke; just look at how bright and shiny that rig is as it sits in the driveway. Owned by Jamie Nyce, who lives in suburban Philadelphia, this 2019 F250 is a very comfortable ride with some enhanced performance and off-roading ability. “When I was looking for a new truck, I ended up going with the Ford,” Nyce says. “My family encouraged me, plus Fords are very trusted for all-around dependability.” Nyce is the owner of a local concrete company that serves a large area of Philadelphia’s suburbs, and the Ingot Silver Metallic short bed crew cab Ford is his daily driver.
In getting the new truck outfitted, Jamie went to Jason’s Repair and Performance in Telford, Pa. Below the body, the truck uses a BDS 2.5-inch coilover shock suspension with traction bars, Hostile wheels, and Nitto 35-inch Ridge Grappler tires. For further off-road enhancement, Jason’s added Road Armor Identity front and rear bumpers color-matched with the rest of Jamie’s truck and covered with Rigid LED lights, along with Bushwacker fender flares and a 55-gallon Titan fuel tank. A camouflage hood deflector, ceramic coating, undercoating, a Rhino Lining bed liner, and an ARE cap were added for extra looks and protection. With this setup, the truck is beyond well-suited for the rugged terrain, but it also still has great comfort on the tarmac, which matters a lot for the heavy stop-and-go traffic nature of a large, densely populated east coast city area like greater Philadelphia. In the future, Jamie plans on adding a chip upgrade. “This truck looks awesome with the new bumpers, and it rides and handles like a dream with the BDS suspension and Ridge Grapplers,” he says. “This is an amazing truck. I love it.”
