The Flex-A-Lite compact adjustable electric fan controller, available at Summit Racing, is one of the most versatile fan controllers out there. Aside from the ability to turn your fan(s) on and off, it can automatically activate the fan whenever the air conditioning is switched on, and it has a manual override switch so you can flip on the fan anytime you want. That helps protect your engine from overheating on those scorching hot days or when you’re forced to cruise at slow speeds with insufficient air reaching the radiator (i.e. when you're in a traffic jam).
The Flex-A-Lite compact adjustable fan controller is adjustable from 160° to 220° F using a small, flat-blade screwdriver. The electronics are fully potted to protect them from water intrusion and vibration failure. The controller is available with a push-in temperature sensor that slips between the radiator tubes and fins, or with a threaded probe that screws into port on the radiator or somewhere else in the cooling system.
