A "viral" video is defined as a video that become hugely popular through the means of internet sharing. With over 45 million views, the video entitled "The Crazy Nasty#$! Honey Badger" certainly fits that definition.
This Honey Badger video found its way over to Chris Searle, our marketing manager at Diesel Tech magazine, and ultimately became the inspiration for our latest project truck. To give a brief explanation of why that is, a honey badger is a species similar to weasels and is native to Africa, Southwest Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.
In the viral Honey Badger video, footage from the National Geographic is being shown of the honey badger's ferocious defensive skills and its keen diet for cobra snakes. It features commentary to spice up quite humorously the drab narration that was originally on the video. Of all the classic lines in that video, the one that caught Searle's attention was, "The Honey Badger just don't care."
