High Pressure Oil Pumps for Ford Powerstroke

March 2021 Products Web Exclusive

The oil pump in the International/Navistar-made 6.0L Powerstroke engines should generate 3,000 to 4,000 PSI of pressure at wide open throttle and 600 to 700 PSI at idle. If the pressure drops below 500 PSI, the engine will simply die or not start at all.

When that happens, get a Bostech replacement oil pump. Each pump core is disassembled, internal components are inspected and remanufactured to OEM standards, then flow- and pressure-tested so they’re ready to go. The pump for 2005-10 engines comes with a cover gasket, injector pressure regulator (IPR) valve, and a snap-to-connect injector feed fitting. The pump for 2003-04 engines comes with a cover gasket and tube seals.

Summit Racing also carries Bostech Auto remanufactured fuel injectors, oil coolers, valve cover gaskets, and other components for Ford, GM, and Dodge/Ram diesel engines.
