According to a recent SEMA article, truck sales for the first half of 2008 have dropped 23 percent compared to the same time last year. Fuel prices are largely blamed for the drop. AutoPacific, an automotive industry consulting firm, predicts that overall pickup sales (including compact and full-size) will drop 18 percent in 2008.
What's taking the biggest hit? This chart from SEMA shows the numbers.
