The faint afterimage of a Scheids Diesel Dragster zooming by
at a scorching pace was none other than previous record breaker Bo Layne.
Layne was at it again this year during the FASS Diesel
Nationals at Oreilly Raceway Park
in Indianapolis, IN held in early June where he pulled down
the impressive record breaking speed of 190.97 mph in Top Diesel.
"Congratulations to Bo and Dan," Randy Cole, president of
the National Diesel Hot Rod Association (NHRDA) said.
According to the NHRDA payout schedule, the win would have earned Layne at least $2,000 in prize money.
