Reading about something like this issue's cover feature (The Ultimate Work Truck) is intriguing. We admit, using the word "ultimate" is the ultimate overkill. But this is a real-life, hardcore work truck, from the mud packed into its frame rails to the auxiliary fuel tank beneath the tool box in the beat-up bed. This truck is not the show-n-shine trailer rider that graces the covers of so many magazines in the automotive industry. It has spent the majority of its 290,000-mile life span with a loaded trailer hooked to its gooseneck hitch.
We figure a truck like this is more common than most might think among Diesel Tech readers. So we want you to send in photos of your trucks-not just sitting alone out in some field-but doing what it does every day. We want to see your trucks at work, whether it's loaded down with heavy equipment, or just dragging your boat for a weekend getaway. Even if you're just packing your clubs to the golf course-send us a picture. These are Diesel Tech trucks, and we want to help you show them off.
Send your photos to dteditor@dieseltechmag.com. Throw in a few details about the truck, too, like year, make and model, how many miles are on it and a list of what modifications you've made to it, if any. Then watch for your truck to show up in future issues of Diesel Tech.
