By now, we’ve all seen the terrible devastation that Hurricane Harvey has wrought on the state of Texas. There’s tragedy everywhere you look, but there is also some brightness shining through the clouds. Millions of people are doing everything in their power to help out those affected by the storm.
It’s one of those situations where having a huge lifted truck has been incredibly advantageous to those trying to get into flooded areas to deliver supplies or rescue stranded people that otherwise had no way out. CNN ran this great video of a man using his “monster truck” (it’s an F350 with huge tires and a gigantic lift) to extract people:
Elsewhere, hordes of trucks could be seen lining up on the highway with boats trailered with the intent of getting into flooded areas:
The Diesel Brothers set aside their usual silly nature (well, eventually) and asked people for help gathering supplies:
Heavy D later updated, saying they’d gotten more than they could handle and that they were heading to Texas the next day with a convoy to deliver everything:
Finally, Edge Products is matching 50 percent of all hat, shirt, tumbler, and decal purchases from now until September 4th and will donate that money to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
