2018 Chevy Duramax Midnight Edition
I drive a 2018 Chevy Duramax Midnight Edition. I’ve been driving diesel trucks for a couple of years now. This is the first diesel truck that is fully in my name and that I personally bought.
I bought this truck Jan. 5, 2018 and I use this truck for everything. I started modifying my truck the day I got it. I want my truck to stand out.
I put new wheels and tires on it within the first month of owning it. They are TIS Off-Road 20x12 with a -44 offset riding on a 305/50/20 Nitto tire. I put an aftermarket intake on it. Now I'm just waiting on tunes for the truck so I can fully delete it.
I'm always doing stuff with my truck. I spend just about every weekend working on my truck. So far I’ve probably spent around $7,000 on modifications. I want my truck to stick out and I want to make it a show truck.
I've done all the work in my shop at home. I like to do it myself to make sure it’s done right. If (there’s an install) I don't know or can't do it in my shop, I take my tuck over to Maxx Diesel Repair. The guy that owns the shop is a good buddy of mine.
I haven't seen a bunch of improvements to my truck with the engine. I'm just waiting on tunes … I can't wait for that. I know my truck has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see it in a year or two. I want to have over 1,000-plus horsepower.
I want to thank Diesel Tech for giving me this opportunity. I've been working my butt off to buy this truck; it’s been one of my dreams. I'm 19 years old and have wanted to get into the diesel industry for years now. I want to make my truck one of the baddest trucks on the road.
